First Lutheran School is fully accredited by the State of Oklahoma and the National Lutheran School Accreditation. NLSA is the accrediting body for schools within the Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod across the United States and the world. First Lutheran School has adopted and implemented standards at all grades to prepare students for their next educational levels. In addition to classroom assessments, second through eighth grade students are assessed through STAR reading and math testing in addition to the Iowa Test of Basic Skills to evaluate the success of our students, teachers, and program.FLS also works closely with Ponca City Public Schools to ensure that our students excel during their transition to Ponca City High School. PCPS also assists FLS in the evaluation and instruction of students with special needs.
