REGISTRATION

 FOR ALL STUDENTS WILL BE WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 6, 2008

Greetings from First Lutheran School. Registration for ALL PRE-ENROLLED STUDENTS will be Wednesday, August 6, 2008 in the cafeteria. To avoid long waiting lines, we will follow this schedule, last names alphabetically. If you are unable to come at your scheduled time, you may come at a time which is more convenient for you.

Last Names A-H 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

Last Names I-Z 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.

The following functions will be performed at registration:

All families (new and returning) will be asked to check and update information for our master records. New students will need to turn in the information indicated in the enclosed letter (birth certificates, immunizations, etc.)

First Lutheran School Parent Handbooks will be available for all families. The handbook will contain information on the free and reduced meal program, the PTL program, the school calendar, and various items regarding daycare, student pickup, etc.

Every family will be asked to fill out volunteer forms, a medical attention release, a publicity permission form and an internet use form (grades1-8).

A supply list for ALL GRADES is enclosed. We will have grades 6-8 Teen Study Bibles for sale and BOOKSOX available to be ordered ($3.00) at registration. 2007-2008 prepaid yearbooks may be available for pick-up.

Tables will be set up for registration for childcare (all grades) and band (grades 6-8). Information about these programs will be available. Students in grades 6-8 will also be asked to sign up for first quarter electives.

The FLS Parent/Teacher League will have a table for information and volunteer sign up as well as logo item samples and ordering.

Pre-paid meals for grades 1-8 will be on sale at registration. You may wish to purchase lunch and/or breakfast meals at this time.
